Dr Jack Kreindler – Founder & CSO

Dr Jack Kreindler is a physician and physiologist with a parallel career in technology spanning 18 years. Jack architected and founded some of the UK’s largest online ventures in social media, health and finance: Douglas Adams’ H2G2.com acquired by the BBC, vielife.com acquired by Cigna and Dictate.IT, the National Health Service’s largest transcription provider. In 2002, Jack founded BlueOrange to incubate high growth startups including Imagini.net and developed a revolutionary webscale datastore, addressing the issue of database replication. Jack spun off GenieDB in 2008 to mature this technology – a solution to one of the hardest challenges in computer science.

Stuart Frost – Chairman & CEO

Stuart is a highly successful, serial high-tech entrepreneur with more than 20 years’ experience in the technology market. Stuart was General Manager of Strategy for the Database Systems Group of Microsoft for two years following the acquisition of DATAllegro for $275m in August of 2008. Stuart founded DATAllegro in June of 2003, and was its CEO through to the acquisition. Prior to the DATAllegro exit, Stuart was founder and CEO of SELECT Software Tools. Founding SELECT in 1988, he led the company through rapid growth and expansion including a very successful IPO in 1996. Stuart has a degree in Electronics Engineering from Nottingham University in England and began his career in 1983 as a programmer and systems analyst.

Cary Breese – President & COO

Cary Breese is a successful entrepreneur and financial executive, with proven achievements in technology, financial risk management and operations. Prior to GenieDB, Cary was founder and CEO of Trafalgar, a profitable, technology-driven financial services firm that that he led until its sale, achieving 18x original investment. Before Trafalgar, Cary was division financial officer and actuary for CIGNA’s $120 million FIS division, where he was responsible for financial planning and control. Prior to broadening his talents into financial risk management at CIGNA, Cary was successful in the high-tech aerospace industry, serving as managing software engineer for Lockheed Martin. Cary earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in 1989, and obtained his ACAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society in 1997.
